Love is in the Autumn Air at Dalzell Estate | Amy & Dean

Hello Friends!

So, it’s a new year and is it a new me? Maybe not new, but certainly much more improved and one of those mega improvements is that I’m super excited to start posting many, many more of my photo sessions to the blog. I mean, there’s only so much you can get from an Instagram Feed or Online Portfolio, so my blog is back to rescue that, by cascading some of the best images from my favourite photo sessions and weddings… can I get a WOOP! lol.

I’d love to start with some of my favourite images from this gorgeous Autumn Engagement Session at Dalzell Estate and Baron's Haugh in Lanarkshire. Amy and Dean, had been gifted this session from Amy’s Bridesmaids, as an Engagement Gift, how thoughtful is that?! Tangible, timeless, memories that Amy and Dean can look back on time and time again from before they got ‘hitched’. I believe that these kind of gifts are completely invaluable!

So, on a crispy autumn morning when I was back in Lanarkshire visiting family; Amy, Dean and I went on a relaxed but incredibly fun walk around this stunning estate. The colours in Autumn in Scotland and nothing short of IN-SANE and it’s why I absolutely love Autumn as a season for portraits. Dalzell Estate lays in the heart of a built up area and is a true haven of natural beauty in among the concrete jungle, I’m so glad that Amy and Dean love it just as much as I do!

This duo are due to Wed in 2021 and I can only imagine how incredible the Wedding Photos are going to be, if this is just the Engagement Session! Seriously though…. what insanely photogenic couple!!

I mean look at this crazy happy-in-love pair!

“I absolutely love them, I’ve actually got a tear in my eye going through them. Thank you so much. These are amazing!” - Amy.

I’m always absolutely over the moon when my amazing, amazing clients love their photos, their memories are truly my top priority, especially when it comes to capturing the emotion of how exciting it is to be getting married very soon! Not forgetting, always managing to get that wee photo at the end for Mammy and Granny, because we all know that we need at least one ‘looking down the lens’ photo for Grannie’s Mantlepiece.

Some of the photographs from this session will be used for Amy & Dean’s Save the Date Cards. If you have an Engagement Session booked, far enough in advance, it really is a great opportunity to use the images from your session for your Wedding Stationery, which makes it super personal to you! I can design Save the Dates for you, which can be emailed, digitally downloaded then taken to a print lab of your choice or I can also have them professionally printed for you with my print lab of choice then have them delivered straight to your door.

Anyways, Engagement Sessions - totally worth it…. an investment (or in this case a gift) that just keeps giving!
