That’s right these sessions are for newborns and beyond because every stage of the first year in your babies life is precious!

As a new mama myself I am all too aware that when your fresh bundle of joy arrives in this world, your family dynamics are very precious. With bonding and sleep being of the highest priority, you’re unlikely going to want to venture far from home, no matter what stage in the first year your baby is at you might still find things like getting organised and out the door challenging… so rather than leaving the comfort of the family nest, I will come to you and capture those irreplaceable moments with a natural but bright style, simply capturing your baby as they are and the personality they want to share on the day.

Sessions are entirely baby-led, therefore your session may look like, baby on their own, whether asleep or awake, and all the teeny little details from hands to toes or you may want to be part of the session and I always highly recommend that parents and siblings are, if this is the case, you may want to rock your newborn to sleep in a chair by the window or your partner may soothe the baby to sleep as they walk around the living room. Little sitters may want to scoot around the nursery or living room and play with blocks or we can even capture those weaning onto solid grabbing a few snacks at lunchtime.

Proud siblings may want to show off their new best friend or you all may snuggle up together, happy and radiating with joy for this new little family member, as you all share a yawn together and remember the days of a full nights sleep. Whatever feels comfortable for you and your baby I am happy to quietly document.

These images will have real memories attached that will only grow more valuable with time.

Your session will take around 2-3 hours, this allows lots of time for things to be baby-led and for feeding and comfort breaks, as well as giving us time for things to be very relaxed and un-rushed.
